Overview

Training programmes are arranged at the Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati for Police officers and Judicial officers. The training programmes are arranged in short term basis (3 to 5 days) depending on the nature of the training imparted to the participants. Clearly, the subject of the training courses are directly related to the Forensic Science only.

In some cases training programmes for bank official are also arranged. In these programmes knowledge of fake currency notes and their detections are discussed.

A training course will be organised at a suitable time which will be informed to the responsible officers. If the nos. of participants are large, then the said training programmes will be arranged in different batches

Eligibility Criteria

The apllicant should be a Police or Judicial Officer or a student 

Documents Required

To apply for a training course a letter has to be addressed to the Director, Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati by Head of the Department who are responsible officer for training. A university can grant a permission letter to admit a  student for the training course.

Important Timeline

The training programmes are arranged on a short term basis for 3 to 5 days.

How to apply

Home Department forwards a letter to the Director of the Department to conduct training of the police personnel or judicial officer.
